Welcome to Mastering Clinical Audit from the University of Edinburgh, an online course for all healthcare practitioners. Designed for health professionals of any discipline, Mastering Clinical Audit is relevant to those working in health care in any country. It will appeal to health service managers, doctors, nurses, therapists, radiographers, laboratory staff and many other professional groups. Knowledgeable members of the public with an interest in health care can also participate in the course. No previous experience of audit or particular expertise is required. The clinical examples used in the course are not complex and can be easily understood by a lay audience.

Mastering Clinical Audit was devised by Professor Gerry Fowkes, University of Edinburgh and Dr Mark Charny, formerly Director of the UK National Centre for Clinical Audit. The aim is to provide participants with the understanding and skills to conduct effective multi-professional clinical audit. This course allows staff to learn at their own pace and without disruption to their clinical work.

Many health professionals from countries such as Australia, China, India, Italy, New Zealand, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and the UK have taken this universally acclaimed course with over 90% rating it as very worthwhile.
